When you buy from GoldRiver Orchards, you can buy with confidence. Our plant and processes are certified under the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

Beginning in 2016, GoldRiver was first certified as meeting GFSI standards with a Safe Quality Food (SQF Level 2) certification. This standard requires annual audits by individuals certified and commissioned by the Safe Quality Food Institute. In our most recent audit, GoldRiver achieved a score of 98 out of a possible 100 points.

GoldRiver is also HACCP-certified and has several people on staff who carry a PCQI certification (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual). This credential demonstrates a person’s ability to develop and implement plans to prevent foodborne illnesses.

In addition to these, GoldRiver Orchards is the recipient of multiple Pinnacle Awards from the Safe Food Alliance, based in Sacramento, California. These awards are given to organizations that achieve an “excellent” rating on all three annual quality audits conducted by the SFA.

Finally, GoldRiver is certified by the San Francisco Rabbinal Council as a Kosher-approved facility and by the American Halal Foundation as a Halal-approved facility.
