How We Work
Always Friendly and Helpful.
That’s our mantra at GoldRiver Orchards. When our company was founded, we wanted to build a culture centered on treating people with respect, integrity, and an eye on service—all in a friendly and helpful way.
Our Customer Service team wants to serve you; it’s hard-wired in their DNA. So when you call us during normal business hours, you’ll be greeted by a friendly voice, not a computer or a recording. If you have a problem or a request–whether for samples to be shipped, the ETA on an export container, making a pick-up appointment, a question on an invoice, or whatever it might be–you will find us to be prompt, knowledgeable, and as anxious to answer your question as you are to have it answered.
Communication is key
We take the time to listen. We want you to be ahead of the game. If we don’t know the answer to your question, we’ll get back to you in a timely manner.
We build relationships
For those of us at GoldRiver, we’d rather make a short-term sacrifice to the bottom line if it means we can preserve and enhance the hard-earned and extremely valuable relationships we enjoy with our customers.
We run toward claims and problems, not away from them
No one likes product claims or logistical problems, but if they arise we move into action. That which has the potential to destroy a relationship if not handled well or promptly becomes–for us–a challenge to build the relationship even stronger through an attitude of respect and honor. If there’s a problem, we want to address it, solve it, and move ahead. You deserve it, and we’re committed to it.
We want to be a company that’s easy to do business with
Whether it’s accurate invoices, timely shipments, meeting our contractual obligations, being always trustworthy and honest–whatever the requirements to get the job done and done well, that’s our goal. We pledge to do our best, and we don’t mind it if you bring high expectations. We love the challenge to meet them.
For over a hundred years, the Barton family has maintained the highest quality standards–not just in our products, but in the way we treat our customers, our suppliers, and our growers. We don’t plan to stop doing that now. And we’ll do it in a friendly and helpful way.
